The Adventure Philosophy Charitable Trust is a New Zealand registered charitable trust, run by Marcus Waters, Graham Charles and Mark Jones. Collectively they manage and award the ‘Good For Life’ Scholarship from Adventure Philosophy. Waters, Charles, and Jones have over 50 years experience pursuing outdoor adventures in New Zealand and abroad. They represent all spheres of New Zealand life, running their own business, consulting to other businesses and instructing New Zealand’s young people through Polytechnics, and Universities. They regularly share their adventures through various media including a 20/20 documentary and TV3 news. You could not find a better team to promote, manage and award a scholarship of this nature.
The Benefit to you as a Sponsor
You will be assisting New Zealand youth fulfill their potential and will help make a positive contribution to New Zealand’s adventurous culture. You will be recognised and acknowledged on our web site and in promotional material relating to the scholarship. Special recognition will be granted commensurate with your level of support. Receipts will be issued for your tax purposes.
Funds
Scholarship funds are currently held in a dedicated BNZ account. All bank statements are kept and Scholarship supporters are welcome to view these statements at anytime. Supporter’s cash and cheques will be deposited into this account immediately upon receipt. Any interest generated on scholarship funds is retained in the scholarship account.
