Unable to move for 2 days now. Heavy rain and wind have kept us battoned down. Everything is wet and moving high onto the ice cap is very unappealing with wet gear - global warming seems to have taken a hold here with some vengeance. To top that off route finding out here on the 'hump and hollow' of the glacier is problematic with many false leads and no clear path to the higher ice cap and the snow we seek. Our tent has melted itself at least 4 inches into the ice and is filling nicely with run off. We hope everyone is warm and dry and spare us a thought.
